Did you know that...

... A duck's quack doesn't echo.

... More men than women fall out of hospital beds.

... A cow can be led up stairs, but not down.

... Daylight SavingsTtime was introduced back in World War 2, to give our men (and women) extra light to perform tasks they needed to perform in the mornings.

Actually, I get the stuff from all over the place. Most of the stuff in this post comes from the "Who Cares Quiz" on the radio station I listen to. There's a sort of quiz on in the mornings at the weekend, and I often wake up just in time to hear some of the facts. It's not a quiz in the sense that people phone in or whatever to answer questions, they just ask a question that a lot of people probably couldn't care less about, then answer it an hour later.

They're catchphrase for it is, "It's the 'Who Cares Quiz'... It's a quiz, but who cares?"

I knew that a duck's quack doesn't echo, but I was not aware that more men than women fall out of hospital beds. Maybe because they are bigger babies? LOL

It's finally the end of Daylight Saving Time here in North America. I will have a few weeks of not having the sun in my eyes on the way to work, but the trade off is it will now be in my eyes on the way home, lol.
