Well, no, but I did have pancakes over the weekend for the first time in a long time and they were so good. so so so good.
Pancake day? I didn't know there was a pancake day. Hummm...I haven't had pancakes for a long, long time. :)
No pancakes today. I'm all out of pancake and maple syrup. It's sugaring season and it seems as if everyone and their neighbors are cooking maple sap. I'm hoping to get some fresh maple syrup soon and we'll enjoy the pancakes then.Blessings~
No pancakes today, but we'll probably have those for supper tomorrow night since it's Ash Wednesday.
Nikki:Glad you enjoyed the pancakes you had on the weekend! :)Rita:Pancake day is just what we call "shrove Tuesday"... I'm sure you've heard of it by that name? The thing is, since to me it's just an excuse to have pancakes (not that I need one, but still) and because that's what my Mam always called it... Well, pancake day just stuck!
Joyful:Thanks for stopping by and commenting! :)Yes... I'm sure it will be much easier to get hold of the stuff once everyone else has had enough of pancakes!AK:Well, I hope you enjoy them! :)
Nope. Had to google it. No wonder I didn't know. We never celebrated Lent in my family. I learned something new. :):)
Rita:We've never really celebrated Lent either... We just like the pancakes (hence just calling it "pancake day")
I could eat a pancake or three today!! With creamy butter and warm syrup...
Errrr no pancakes here. I had no idea there was any such thing as pancake day!
Iggy:Good call! :)Deanna:Well, now you know... And if you want an excuse to have pancakes, then now you have one! ;)
