March's important dates

OK, well, I've done a couple of posts today (I think this is number five) and will do a "proper" one tomorrow, but I just wanted to say that since I haven't really been on here through most of March, I know for a fact there are birthdays and things I haven't been around to mention, which is what this post is for.

March 1st was, as I briefly mentioned on the day, St. David's Day here in Wales. So, belated happy St. David's Day to everyone.

March 11th was MarmiteToasty's son (Ben)'s birthday. Yeah, I know he himself isn't exactly a friend of mine, but I thought I'd wish him a belated happy birthday on here anyway. So, belated happy birthday to Ben :)

March 15th was my brother Wayne's birthday. Mam and I met him in town so we could spend at least part of the day with him, so I did get to say happy birthday to him on the day, but I just "have to" say it on here too. So... Happy birthday Wayne :)

March 17th was, as most of you know, St. Patrick's Day. So, belated happy St. Patrick's Day to everyone too :)

Also, March 18th would have been our hamster (Sirius)'s 3rd birthday, but he didn't quite make it. *Sigh* Still, 2 days short of being three is fantastic for a hamster. R.I.P. Sirius.

Anyway, we can't forget that Ostara (the Spring Equinox) was only a couple of days ago, and that Easter Sunday is today, can we? So, whichever and however you're celebrating, I hope your celebrations are going according to plan. In fact, whether you're celebrating Spring and all that it stands for, or celebrating the resorection of Jesus, or even choosing not to celebrate either of these things, I hope that you and yours are happy and safe.

Thanks AK.

We didn't really do anything to celebrate. Kelly and I brought each other some chocolate eggs and such, but that's about it. I'd have liked to have done more, but we couldn't go for a walk out by the river because of the weather, and with moving we didn't really have the time or money to arrange anything more.
