Battle Abbey - part 2

OK, here are the rest of the photos my Dad took at Battle Abbey. At least, the rest of the ones I plan to share.

I'm a little rusty with my history.

"Battle Abbey is a partially ruined abbey complex in the small town of Battle in East Sussex, England. The abbey was built on the scene of the Battle of Hastings and dedicated to St. Martin."

I had to look up St. Martin too... Smiles. Now there's a dude that really got around!

There's a lot of history in this area, most of it centered around the battle of Hastings.

Well, I said it before and I'll say it again -- terrific photos and such fun to visit a spot with such history!

I love all the archways. We don't have the hundreds of years of history over here so those buildings are amazing to me. :)
