Rita: They need all that space for digging, and even so they still manage to throw stuff out of their cage while digging, LOL!
There were two black gerbils in their litter. We only took the two of them, but Bilbo and Baggins come from a litter with four male gerbils in it: 2 black, 1 white, and 1 brown.
It's funny, but all our current rodent gang are from litters with four of their gender in.

Bilbo appears to be a bit darker than his buddy. It looks easy to tell these two apart!

Yeah. Bilbo is black, Baggins is more of a brown colour, so they're pretty easy to tell apart.
That's cool to see a black gerbil. I have mostly ever seen the brown ones. They have a great home with a lot of room. :)
