Mad Tea Party 2021

Come in.  Come in.

You're just in time for tea.

Although, perhaps since it's so hot, you'd prefer some strawberry lemonade...

Of course, you'll need something to eat too, won't you? So, help yourself to a cucumber sandwich or two...

And maybe one of these freshly baked lavender cookies...

Take more than one if you like.  I can make more.

~

Now, how about some entertainment?

Perhaps a little music?

Here's one of my favourite songs - of which I have many -  to listen to while we enjoy our refreshments...

Or we can share stories, or maybe poems.  Do you have any you'd like to share?

I certainly do, and some of them are even on sale this month.

You share yours first, and then I'll tell you all about them.

You can get "Puppy Poems And Rodent Rhymes" and "Pawfect Pet Poems" for just $0.99 each throughout July. "Where's Noodles?" and "Snowlilie's Brother" are on sale at $0.99 all this month too.  So, if you like stories or poems about pets, you can pop over to Smashwords and check those out.  Smashwords is free to join if you're not already on there, and the books come in all kinds of formats, so it doesn't matter how you read your eBooks.  Just click on the book titles to go grab your copies.

The stories and poems are based on some of my very own petkids, who were invited to join the party, and are around here somewhere, but are insisting it's too hot to join in whatever madness I'm up to today.  Such a shame, since the dogs love visitors.

But never mind.

I'm sure you could use another drink.

More lemonade?

Or do you want me to make us a pot of tea despite the heat? I mean, it is a tea party, after all, and perhaps my little purple teapot is feeling slightly neglected over there on the kitchen counter...

And do feel free to help yourself to more sandwiches or cookies.

Don't be shy.  I know you can't resist helping yourself to another lavender cookie or two... Go on.  You know you want to, and there are plenty more...

It's such a delight to have you here.

What's that? You have to go?

How sad.

Ah, yes, there are other parties to get to.  Of course.  How could I forget?

Well, thank you for coming to my tea party.  I hope you had a wonderful time.  It was so nice to take a few moments to just relax, and enjoy some good food and pleasant company.  Don't you agree?

Leave me a comment so I know you visited, and do come back again soon, won't you?

Now, click on the banner below to head over to A Fanciful Twist and check out the other wonderful tea parties.

#WriterWednesday - August 29th 2018

(Cover art by Jacob Blackmon, banner creation by Barbara G. Tarn).

In case you missed yesterday's post: my entire "Zeena Dragon Fae" series is now available in audio from Audible, Amazon, and iTunes. The narrator is Ella Lynch, who was a delight to work with, and who you can learn more about in her narrator interview on Alex's blog. Links for all formats can be found in both my post from yesterday and Ella's interview post. Alternatively, you can use these fancy universal book links, and just click on the book title to find the book at your favourite retailer: Zeena And The Dryad, Zeena And The Gryphon, Zeena And The Mermaid, and Zeena And The Phoenix.

Also, Enid The Spirit Fairy from my "Zeena Dragon Fae" books was interviewed over on Barb's blog on Sunday (August 26th 2018). You can read her interview here.

In other news, I was over on Sally's blog this past Saturday (August 25th). I was one of the brunch guests, as part of her end of Summer party. If you have a few moments, why not pop over there and meet her other guests. Also, you can check out the song requests that didn't make it in to the brunch post, including my own musical request.

I'm glad I set things up for those posts before ending up in hospital, and didn't have to sort them at the last minute after getting home. This is one benifit of my habit of making sure things are scheduled ahead of time whenever possible. You wouldn't even have had posts on this blog last week if I hadn't scheduled them already, because I wasn't feeling up to doing much last week, including sorting blog posts and eMails, or doing writing of any sort. I managed to sort enough eMails to avoid my inbox getting even worse than it was, and wrote the post for Sunday. But that was about all I managed, and I almost didn't even do that much. It was this past Monday (August 27th) before I felt up to doing anything more than that, which is lucky, or you wouldn't have today's post, since only Monday and Friday already had something scheduled for this week.

Speaking of which: sometimes you just don't feel like writing, and that's OK. But should you only write when you feel like it? Probably not. If you've got a good reason not to be writing as much as you'd planned to - health issues, family or work commitments, etc - that's fair enough. But constantly putting off writing because you just don't feel like it will make it impossible to reach any of your writing goals. Taking writing breaks is fair enough, and can often be a good idea, especially if you're dealing with a lot of life stuff, such as hospital trips. Sometimes you have to write when you don't feel like it though. At least, you do if you want to get anywhere with your writing.

So, we all agree you need to write. But which point of view will you write from? If you're thinking of writing in first person, and looking for some tips for doing so, check out this post on how to make writing in first person easier.

Hey, what's going on with CreateSpace and KDP Print? Well, it sounds to me like KDP Print is taking over. I'm sticking with CreateSpace for now myself, partially because I don't want to deal with moving 53 titles from one to the other right now. Yes, 53, since the proof for "Where's Noodles?" is currently on its way to me. I think I'll probably end up with no choice eventually. But right now I don't have to, and could do without making more work for myself when it can be avoided. Though how much longer I'll be able to avoid it is unclear, since I think it's going to happen soon. More on this as I know more myself.

#TDWHalloweenParty 2016: The Dance Of Lady Autumn - A #Poem (FD)

If you're new here... Welcome! If you're a regular visitor... Welcome back!

Say hello to this year's Mr. Pumpkin-Head and his friends...

Don't mind the skeleton and his warning... He can be quite dramatic at times. He's harmless, really.

Anyway, we're glad you could come. It's cold outside, and the roaring of the obviously rough ocean waves makes me think a storm is close, so please come in and make yourself comfortable while you get warmed up. You'll still be able to hear the waves roaring as they crash against the shore, but you'll be warmer inside, and dryer if the rain arrives.

The kettle is already on, so what will it be? Perhaps a nice apple and pear tea?

If that's not for you, don't worry, we have other teas as well; I stock a variety of herbal and fruity teas, plus regular tea. Or, perhaps you'd prefer a coffee? Or a nice mug of hot chocolate? Or, if you'd prefer, you could have a cold drink... I have a couple of available options for that too. Take your pick!

And, since no party is complete without cake... Help yourself to a slice of this jam and cream sponge...

Yeah, I know it's not a very Halloween themed cake, but I always think you can't go wrong with a nice strawberry jam and whipped cream sponge. Although, I suppose if you're a vegan or diabetic, or have an alergy to strawberries or something, you might feel differently. If that does apply to you though, I'm sure I can find you an alternative. I generally have things like crackers, oat cakes, fruit (dried, canned, and fresh) and that kind of thing available, so we can figure something out for you. It would be no trouble at all to do so, so please don't hesitate to speak up.

Or, for those more adventurous guests, how about we take the time to learn about Hallowmas (Halloween in Medieval times) and how to make soul cakes? Bet you can't get those at your local bakery...

OK? Everyone got their snack and drink of choice? Great!

So, while you enjoy your drink and snack, let me treat you to one of my recent poems, which was written around the time of this year's Autumn Equinox, which - for those who don't know - was on September 22nd. In fact, for the benifit of those who want to be accurate, I can tell you that the exact time and date of this year's equinox - as in the astronomical event itself - was on Thursday September 22nd 2016 at 2:21pm UTC (that's UK time, in case you don't know).

Anyway, this poem has never been shared before. It will appear in my next poetry collection - whenever I have enough poems to make it worthwhile putting another together - but, in the meantime, here it is:

The Dance Of Lady Autumn

Here comes Lady Autumn,
In gown of crimson and gold.
With amber eyes and russet hair,
She’s a beauty to behold.
See her dance among the trees;
Twirling around and around.
Each leaf she touches changes,
Before it tumbles to the ground.

Watch as the wind snatches them up;
It almost looks like chance.
But if you’re watching carefully,
You’ll see they’ve joined the Lady’s dance.
See how the leaves match her gown,
As well as her russet curls.
Watch how they move with her,
As she spins and twirls.

If you linger long enough,
Perhaps she’ll dance with you?
But when the dance comes to an end,
(As everything must do)
You best hurry home to your fire,
For Autumn will be through.

Sometimes the strings that tie us down are the same strings that set us free.

Sixteen-year-old Pia has always lived in a mysterious facility where mechanical strings control her existence. She plays apprentice to her father, Gio, in performing nanotech designs for the Company, and she soon suspects there are diabolical human forces behind the manufactured reality of her world.

Though her childhood memories and the origins of the strings remain strangely elusive, she begins to find solace with the introduction of two unlikely friends: daring, irrational Sofia, and calm, tender Marco.

As the truths of the past and present unravel together, Pia must find a way to free herself from her strings and escape the facility before facing the wrath of the unstable head of security, Mr. Davis. But to gain her freedom, she must navigate the dangers posed by Davis and by her suspicious new friends to find the real identity of the puppeteer.

If Pia can succeed in revealing the secrets of the Company, she may very well find the independence she so desperately seeks. But in her controlled world nothing is as it seems, and the closer she gets to the truth, the graver the consequences.

Strings Excerpt 1:

The strings are as black as polished ebony, twirling down from the viscous ceiling, which moves like dark waters lapping on a bleak and empty shore. Almost like it’s breathing: in and out, in and out. Not solid, but molten like lava; the dark ceiling flows from room to room throughout the entire compound, allowing my strings to move gracefully and unfettered without getting tangled. According to Papa, the gelatinous ceiling was invented late in the 21st century under the name dream oil. Basically the thick liquid substance can float within designated electromagnetic fields (like a rectangular ceiling space) and yet create enough internal friction to secure various fixtures, such as lights or ceiling fans (or strings). The ceiling controls the strings, sometimes seeming to read my mind before even I know what I’m thinking. Pulling me right when I’m about to turn left. Raising my hand when I’m about to drop it to my side. Bending me to its every will and whim, which most of the time feels like exactly the same thing.
The strings are connected to me in fifteen obtrusive places. One in each thumb, one in each hand, one in each foot. My elbows and knees are connected, too. One in each hip and shoulder for balance, and one final string plugged into the crown of my head, forcing me to look people in the eyes, even if I don’t want to. There are thin silver circles implanted in my flesh where each string enters my skin. As far as I can tell, there’s no way to pull the strings out, unless some kind of special tool is required. So long as I do what’s expected of me, the strings mostly leave me alone, sort of like they’re a part of me, moving as I move, staying out of my way. But if I veer off course for even a second, they’re always there to pull me back in line; I’m a marionette maneuvered by a skillful and indifferent puppeteer, jerking me around without regard for the pain it causes.
Like the mangled scissors I tried to cut my strings with, I’m bent. Not literally—my strings are as taut and tight as ever—but inside, where no one can see. I’m bent like a cracked toothpick.
Bent.
But not broken.

Strings Excerpt 2:

Happiness is perched on a branch outside my window.
A robin, resting in a nest with two blue eggs, their matte curves as perfect and unmarred and cloudless as a cornflower sky. The mama bird has been tending to her unborn babes for days, keeping them warm. I can’t wait to see them hatch.
Watching the bird and her eggs each morning while braiding my hair is my moment of peace. It’s a single pinprick moment where I can forget the world and smile without letting reality ruin things.
I often imagine that my window is on hinges, and that I can push it open, reaching my hand into the empty expanse, feeling the breeze on my skin, offering friendship to the robin and its family. The mama would land on my arm and cock her head and sing songs of life to me. She would change me with her melodies.
But the window is just a slab of thick glass, slightly blurring the view that is already ruined by the hardy metal bars rising from sill to ceiling.
A prison.
Our home.

I managed to get my hands on an advanced review copy of this book, so I've already read it. Since that's the case, here's my review:

Once again, David Estes has managed to spin a tale that will grab your attention from page one, and hold it until the very end, so that putting this book down before I was done felt like torture, and I couldn't stop thinking about it between reading sessions.

All of the characters are believable, the main character is easy to relate to, and the plot moves at just the right pace. On top of that, the story has a wonderful moral to it.

Five stars just don't seem enough to say how fantastic this book is; I swear I'd give it more if I could!

***Note: I was given a free advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. This fact has in no way influenced my opinion of the book, nor the contents of this review.

As sea levels rise and livable landmasses shrink, the Reorganized United States of America has instituted population control measures to ensure there are sufficient resources and food to sustain the growing population. Birth authorization must be paid for and obtained prior to having a child. Someone must die before another can be born, keeping the country in a population neutral position at what experts consider to be the optimal population. The new laws are enforced by a ruthless government organization known as Pop Con, responsible for terminating any children resulting from unauthorized births, and any illegals who manage to survive past their second birthday, at which point they are designated a national security threat and given the name Slip.

But what if one child slipped through the cracks? What if someone knew all the loopholes and how to exploit them? Would it change anything? Would the delicate resource balance be thrown into a tailspin, threatening the lives of everyone?

Salem’s Revenge strikes without warning or mercy, ravaging the powerless human race under the forces of united gangs of witches, wizards, and warlocks. During the slaughter, Rhett Carter's foster parents and sister are killed, and his best friend and girlfriend are abducted by a gang of witches calling themselves the Necromancers, who deal in the dark magic of raising the dead. Rhett’s sword-wielding neighbor with a mysterious past saves Rhett from becoming another casualty of the massacre and teaches him the skills he needs to survive in this new world.

Rhett is broken, his normal high school life of book blogging and football playing shoved in a witch-apocalyptic blender. The only thing he has left is his burning desire for revenge. Armed with his new witch hunting skills and a loyal, magic powered dog named Hex, he sets out into the unknown with one mission: hunt and destroy those who took away everyone he ever loved.

But Rhett isn’t just a witch hunter; He has secrets of his own that he has yet to discover, secrets that his enemies will stop at nothing to keep him from.

And discovering the truth about himself is the human race’s only hope.
Revenge. That’s all that’s left for witch hunter Rhett Carter. The magic-born have stripped everything from him - killed his friends, cursed his warlock father, shattered his future - leaving him bare and broken, but not dead. Their mistake.

When Rhett and Laney are suddenly thrust in different directions, Rhett must decide who to trust and who to kill. Backed by his trusty canine sidekick Hex, Rhett will embark on his deadliest mission yet, one that will lead him directly toward those who want him dead, pushing his unique resistance to magic to the edge and back again as he tries to remove his father’s curse.

Separated from Rhett, Laney seeks to understand the strange changes to her sister, Trish, who’s believed to be the last living Clairvoyant, and what role she’s destined to play in the future of humankind.

Wrapped around everything are four major groups: the Necromancers, the Changelings, the witch hunters, and New America, the remnants of humanity. When the major forces are brought together for an epic battle, the fate of the world hangs in the balance.

Inside Evil blog tour (LBE)

Inside Evil is a paranormal mystery set in a small town on the borders of England and Scotland. Like so many similar places, its residents cannot help but be drawn into each other’s lives, as they rarely venture from their seclusion. But, with such isolation comes danger, and whilst the world is blissfully unaware, an ancient terror is preparing for murder.

600wx375h option 2

Inside Evil – Synopsis

Life in the secluded town of Ridgewood is charming, simple, safe – isn’t it? The bubble that isolates the hamlet protects, or so the eclectic residents believe. Lurking in the background of everyday life is a curse that comes in cycles and picks off the innocent as it pleases. But this time there’s something different, this time the curse wants more.

Inside Evil 1

Roberta Arlington’s life changes the moment she finds one of her pupils, pale, frozen, DEAD. Her mind is filled with uncharacteristic thoughts, dreams and visions create bizarre scenes, and her blood boils as she lashes out at those she loves. Amidst her turmoil there are friends, and enemies, who come to her aid, piecing together the puzzle laid before them.

But with the ancient evil having struck down so many through the centuries, Roberta will have to muster every ounce of strength she has to survive. An entire world, a strange land, has unveiled itself. If Roberta knows one thing for sure, it’s that she alone won’t be able to escape as death comes calling…

My review: "This is a bit of a strange story, but a really good one; an enjoyable read. It has a bit of a slow start, but when it picks up will capture your interest and keep it until the end."

The Tower of Souls – Synopsis

When you conquer a curse, there’s always going to be repercussions.

Roberta has battled ancient and evil forces before, but after rising above her latest demon, she’d always thought that life could finally get back to normal. However, after surviving the terror lurking in Ridgewood’s forest, she comes to discover that her troubles have only just begun.

Tower of Souls - Inside Evil 2

Removed from the friends who aided her quest before, Roberta is now alone in a foreign world with no idea how to escape. Familiar faces are everywhere, but behind every friend lays a stranger waiting to kill her, or worse…turn her over to her greatest nemesis.

Whilst she may have fought a curse before, this time it’s worse. This time her enemy knows Roberta inside and out, and if there’s any hope of survival, she’ll have to go against every instinct she has.

My review: "This is another strange but enjoyable read. It's a fantastic sequel to "inside evil" and well worth the read!"

Spirit of the Middlelands – Synopsis

Having escaped Gathin’s clutches, Roberta is on the run with the child she stole from her nemesis. In this case, the best way to avoid a war is to run, hide and never look back. But it soon becomes apparent that leaving Ridgewood behind may have not been in Roberta and her friends’ best interests, for things are happening in the tiny town that, once again, cannot be explained.

Spirits of the Middlelands - Inside Evil 3

Spirits of the Middlelands is the third book from the Inside Evil series. Despite battling a curse that descends upon Ridgewood on a 10 yearly cycle, Roberta seems to have become entangled in a world of mystery, danger and doppelgängers. There’s a war coming, and though she and her fellow gatekeepers’ believed they could prevent it, they’re now realising that they’ll need to use all their skills to stop the plague from Gathin reaping destruction.

My review: "This is another great addition to the series; just as strange as the first two books in the series, but also just as enjoyable!"

New Alliances – Synopsis

When Roberta was infected with a curse, she never realised the hidden world that was waiting for her. Ridgewood was a quiet and slumbering town, but it seemed there was a great menace waiting in every shadow. With the initial horror having been abated, Roberta’s been cast into an alternate reality where it’s quickly apparent forces of doppelgangers are waiting to break through to Earth.

New Alliances - Inside Evil 4

But Roberta’s not alone, and there are many friends left behind who are still fighting. Whilst the gatekeepers fight to uncover secrets and develop a plan to protect themselves, new alliances are forged. And, with new and unexpected allegiances created, the protectors of Earth are finally realising that they’re not defending themselves against a one-sided war.

My review: "Where do I start on this one? It's another unusual yet enjoyable addition to the series, yes, but so much more! This one is a book that will take you on an emotional rollercoaster ride as you follow the characters the earlier books in the series have taught you to love."

About the author

Geoff Wakeling lives in London and escapes the smog of the city through his writing. The Inside Evil, even though being dark and mysterious, was a way to escape the drudgery of every day life and indulge in something a little more fantastical.

With a degree in Zoology, Wakeling is animal mad and has three cats, fish and five chickens in his London home. He is a keen gardener and conservationist. He is also still awaiting the arrival of his Hogwart’s Owl!

Excerpt 1

Ahead of her something moved, it caught the edge of a strip of light hanging from the canopy, and for a few seconds, Roberta glimpsed the edge of a long, dark, robe. Straining her eyes ever more, Roberta felt her hands shake and pushed them onto the ground to steady her crouch and try to repress the rising panic she felt. Through the gloom a figure appeared, its outline increasing in visibility as it moved ever so slowly towards her.
“You’re too early,” a voice drawled. “It’s not your time yet.”
The words were a whisper, a low breathless hum. The figure stepped forward out of the dark and stood, lit up in a spotlight. Roberta could see nothing of the face, hidden as it was by the robe covering the figure from head to toe, but it was the eyes that took her breath away. Black shining gems bored down onto her. It was like looking directly into hell where all things were evil.
“Go,” the voice drawled.
***********
Turning around very slowly to sit up in bed, he saw he wasn't alone. Two naked men and a woman lay in bed with him, the men both bearded and burly, the woman pale skinned and pert. Another woman was sprawled across a sofa by a curtained window, her full modesty protected with a blanket. Yet another woman sat in a chair by a fire, though she was, mostly, still dressed. She breathed deeply, and Sam following the curling elbow that hung over the arm of the chair towards the floor where fingers remained clutched around a bottle of wine.
Swinging his legs over the side of the bed as quietly as possible so as not to disturb his slumbering companions, Sam removed the muscled arm that flopped across the bed and landed on his thigh. What the hell was going on?
There were a brown pair of trousers that had been carelessly thrown to the floor and Sam bent down quickly, pulling them on in almost one swift movement. As he rose back to a standing position, he glimpsed himself in the mirror and almost cried out in surprise.
Sam's face was familiar, but it wasn't the Sam Carter from Ridgewood who stared back at him. His jaw seemed more defined, and a scar ran its way from above his left eyebrow down to the top of his cheekbone. His hair was long, and it brushed his shoulders with a slight curl. He saw thick, muscled shoulders. As Sam looked at his chest, he couldn't help but feel his jaw drop; his skinny pale frame was muscled and bronzed. His slightly soft stomach was a wall of abs. The light which came from the fire and two oil burning lamps clinging to the wall created some very eye pleasing shadows across his torso. So, Gathin wasn't so bad after all.

Excerpt 2

It glistened in front of her, the edges finding the light on their own accord and creating a silvery glow. It had been this way for months now, the thin veil between worlds shimmering like a moth’s wing under the moon. The size of the portal between worlds hadn’t changed since Roberta, Barry and the girl had walked back into her cellar during the past winter, but the scene on the other side shifted. There were days when the gap was almost opaque and mirror-like so that nothing could be seen but one’s own faded and distorted reflection. At other times translucency returned, and they could see that construction on the other side of the rift had grown. The tiny crevasse through which Roberta and the others had squeezed had been blown apart, leaving a huge cavern leading from the catacombs to the other side of the portal. One of the gatekeepers would descend on the creaking metal ladder and catch movement out of the corner of their eye, only to peer into the darkness and find that it was devoid of life.
They called themselves that now; gatekeepers. Even though Martha was the only legitimate one amongst them, all those who quite literally guarded the gate carried the name now. And after having once glimpsed the Queen, they felt the dread of her survival. Her plans were covered quickly with a cloth or barrier closing off vision into her world, and now the group of gatekeepers feared the worst.
*********
Another scream rang out in the darkness and Roberta pushed her hands tighter over her ears. The torturing had been going on for hours. The cries had been sharp and prolonged at first, until they gradually quietened to a muffled and dull whimper. Then they’d stopped, and she’d been relieved the horrendous sounds were no longer eviscerating her ears. But it seemed the victim had only been given a slight respite, for another painful onslaught was soon brought upon them.
Roberta had quickly realised just where in Gathin she’d been thrust into. Through the opening at the top of the tall cylindrical tomb a light shone down upon her. But it was not the blue sky she originally thought, but a mural painted on a ceiling far above. The drop from the high room to where she lay now was vast. As someone had been dragged across the floor and propped into the chair that now covered the small spherical opening above her, Roberta had realised she was in Gathin’s central tower. It was the windowless pillar that rose out of the ground in the heart of the Queen’s domain. Above her was the room where she’d fought off the Queen of the North Realms, where she’d attempted to throw the doppelgänger to her death. The small opening was covered with an iron grate; the only barrier that kept the seat from dropping into the chasm below. As Roberta had surveyed the room, she’d realised that things, creatures…..people, were dropped from that height, for there was a mound of corpses in the room in which she was now trapped. They rose towards the middle like a newly forming mountain, the peak of which was directly beneath the opening above.

Rafael frightens her, he hints of a secret; another time and another life lived. Can love survive two lifetimes? Events unfold that provides the answers to who Rafael really is and what they mean to one another; and along with these strange and blossoming emotions for Rafael, along with guilt and fear for her brothers safety; Angel discovers that she is more than just a Vampire Hunter, and that she plays a major role in a ancient prophecy, which she must fulfill by facing a force so evil that survival is not promised. SPECIAL FEATURES The Making of Night School Vampire Hunter Trilogy Michelle Cornwell-Jordan “Before concentrating on my writing and publishing, I was the Director of an before and after-school program for grades fifth thru eighth grade. The idea to focus my writing and on-line publishing endeavors… combining music and reading… actually stemmed from the kids. I had been repeatedly told by my Center kids, that kids that read do not listen to “cool” music and vice versa, so I wanted to show my kids something different. I launched a blog in January 2011 which interviews and spotlights Musicians and Authors…and I also began an on-line internet radio program called IndieReview Behind The Scenes Internet Radio through Blogtalk in March 2012. This past November of 2013 we celebrated over 100,000 listens! I have since then acquired a co-host, Author Jamie White and three guest hosts for various segments, and music plays a huge part in all I do. Our goal is to have a platform and bring the readers and music listeners together. It has become a very successful venture, it which I am very grateful. Cecile Monique, a very talented music artist #GothRock has been extremely gracious to also take a hold of this vision, has jumped in bringing the vision of Night School Vampire Hunter Trilogy to a new level with her single #Kindred inspired by the second novella in the series. I believe that a feature such as this, which deals the emerging and thriving on-line Indie community of Musicians and Authors, the local aspect and the Book plus the CD will make for a interesting feature for all ages.” So for all my kid (readers) past and present…”Books & Cool Music really CAN go together!”
