Hi everyone. This is Lilie the Westie.
I had one of those birthday things on Tuesday.
I’m now seven years old.
I got a donkey toy and a chewie stick.
Here are a couple of photos of me with the toy:
I love birthdays!
Lots of licks,
Lilie

I’ve started trying to go to the ACB calls when I can again. It’s tiring, but it’s nice to be back in touch with the friends I made when I was more active in the community before I got sick. I miss feeling well enough to do more, but can’t be helped.
*~*
I’ve made some progress with the things I’m watching and reading, but there’s nothing new to report besides what I said in last week’s post, so you can check that out if you missed what I’m watching and reading and are curious.

It’s been pretty wet here. So, typical Welsh weather.

It was my brother's birthday last Friday. So, happy belated birthday to Wayne.

And that’s the extent of news from my little corner of the world.
I finished watching the second campaigne for Critical Role,
watched seasons 1 and 2 of the animated series based on the characters and events of the first
campaigne (which is called “The Legend Of Vox Machina” and is on Amazon Prime; there are only 2 seasons of that at the moment)
and started watching the episodes of Critical Role's third campaigne, which is the one they’re doing now, which
I’m just a few dozen episodes behind on now. I'm also still watching episodes of "Young Sheldon" with my friend, Kaila. Plus, Kaila and I watched the movie "A Little Princess" (the 1995 version) the other day.
As for what I've been reading. I read “House Of Many Ways” by Dianna Wynn Jones, which is the third book in the Howl’s Moving Castle trilogy, and started reading a fantasy called “The Name Of The Wind” which is the first in the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss.
I’m also still reading “The Blended Lives Chronicles, Book 1: Signs Of The Order” by Patty Fletcher. Plus, my friend, Chanelle, has been reading to me, and we read “Curiosity Thrilled The Cat” which is the first book in Sofie Kelly’s Cosy Cat Mysteries series. We’re planning to continue the series, so starting “Sleight Of Paw” next.
That's what I’ve been watching and reading lately. How about you?
We rehomed Artemis the tortoise.
With my decline in health, and the living room being turned in to combination living room and my bedroom/hospital room, he wasn’t getting what he needed any more. He was ending up stuck in his vivarium all the time, getting very little attention. He was not a happy tortoise, understandably.
Now he lives somewhere where they can give him plenty of time out of his vivarium. They also have an outdoor enclosure for days when the weather is nice enough for the tortoises to go outside, which is something we could never provide him but is good for him. And, yes, I said, “tortoises,” since they have another tortoise already. They did have two, but lost one to medical issues last year and had been toying with the idea of getting a second again. Then I said I was looking for somewhere for Artemis, so they felt it was meant to be.
They’ve sent us a couple of updates. Artemis is being well taken care of, and he’s clearly happy now, which is good enough for me. There were some photos with the updates, so we could see that for ourselves.
Here are a couple of those photos, one of which includes his new friend:
