More of what I #AmWatching and #AmReading

I don’t have a lot to say.  Not much is happening around here other than my taking things day by day in coping with my poor health, and things are currently staying stable with that.  And I don’t really want to talk about my health issues anyhow.  So, I’m back with more of what I’ve been watching and reading.

I started watching “Ahsoka” with Kelly.  I’m also still watching “Young Sheldon” with Kaila.  Not to mention the various roleplaying podcasts I’m still working my way through on YouTube.  There are a lot of those out there as it turns out.

As for reading… Here’s what I read in May:

Prelude to Foundation by Isaac Asimov

Witching up the Wrong Tree by Mara Webb

Switching Well by Peni R. Griffin

Paws to Remember by Sofie Kelly

Whiskers and Lies by Sofie Kelly

Hooked on a Feline by Sofie Kelly

If you want to know what I thought of anything, feel free to ask.

Catching Up On What I #AmWatching

Last week I told you about what I’ve been reading, so this week I thought I’d tell you about what I’ve been watching.

My friend, Kaila, and I watched the new version of “The Secret Garden” and the 1990s version of “A Little Princess” together.  That was actually back in March, so I may have mentioned that, but since I’m not sure, I figured I’d include them.  We’re also still working on “Young Sheldon” and have now started season 4.

I watched “Miss Potter” and “Pocahantas” with my Dad and my sister, Natalie, when Natalie was visiting from Norwich in April.  I’ve seen “Pocahantas loads of times, but it was fun watching it again.

Since I’m all caught up with the Critical Role campaign, I’ve also been watching all kinds of roleplaying Youtube videos similar to the ones the Critical Role group do.  The Critical Role ones are still my favourites, but I’m having fun watching others too.

Of #CriticalRole Plushies

I’ve mentioned Critical Role a few times.

Well, one of the characters in the second campaign has a familiar named Frumpkin.

Naturally, I had to get the keyring plushy for it.

So, here’s my Frumpkin keyring plushy:

Isn’t he cute?

~

I also got this monkey:

His name is Mister, and he’s the fire monkey belonging to another of the characters.  This one from the third campaign.

I think he's cute too.

#AmWatching & #Am Reading - March 15th 2024

I finished watching the second campaigne for Critical Role, watched seasons 1 and 2 of the animated series based on the characters and events of the first campaigne (which is called “The Legend Of Vox Machina” and is on Amazon Prime; there are only 2 seasons of that at the moment) and started watching the episodes of Critical Role's third campaigne, which is the one they’re doing now, which I’m just a few dozen episodes behind on now.  I'm also still watching episodes of "Young Sheldon" with my friend, Kaila.  Plus, Kaila and I watched the movie "A Little Princess" (the 1995 version) the other day.

As for what I've been reading.  I read “House Of Many Ways” by Dianna Wynn Jones, which is the third book in the Howl’s Moving Castle trilogy, and started reading a fantasy called “The Name Of The Wind” which is the first in the Kingkiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss.

I’m also still reading “The Blended Lives Chronicles, Book 1: Signs Of The Order” by Patty Fletcher.  Plus, my friend, Chanelle, has been reading to me, and we read “Curiosity Thrilled The Cat” which is the first book in Sofie Kelly’s Cosy Cat Mysteries series.  We’re planning to continue the series, so starting “Sleight Of Paw” next.

That's what I’ve been watching and reading lately.  How about you?

#AmWatching + #AmReading

I’m not sure what to post about today, so I guess I’m just checking in to share that I’m currently...

Watching: “Critical Role, Campaigne 2” by myself via YouTube, and “Young Sheldon” with my friend, Kaila, via virtual Zoom meetings.

Reading: “Castle In The Air” by Dianna Whynn Jones on audio,  and “The Blended Lives Chronicles, book 1: Signs Of The Order” by Patty Fletcher in Braille.

What have you been watching and reading lately?
