I'm not sure which of the degus is in the above photos; they're really difficult to tell apart when you can't see their noses, and I don't remember who it was. But I know this one is Jasper:
Iggy: They have different white markings on their noses. Or, in Jasper's case, no white marks at all on his nose.
Jasper has no markings. Joshua has a white dot on just one side of his nose. Jenks has a very small white dot on each side of his nose. Jacob has a white marking down the center of his nose, which - if you look closely at it - almost looks like a boot or "j" sort of shape.
It's something similar for the rats: Star has a white mark on her face (nose/forehead area) and Skye doesn't.
