Scenery from our walk

I just thought I'd share a couple of photos from where Kero and I walk. They were taken near the end of October (the same time as the photos in Kero's post from yesterday). I'm afraid it's not as removed from houses as the place we walked near the old house, but it's still a nice little walk. The river is the other side of that fence you can see behind the leaves in the first photo.

Enjoy your day... And - if you're not feeling well - get well soon! :)

It's good you and Kero have places to walk where you don't have to worry about being run down by people.

*sending hugs your way*

I agree with Alice Kay - that walk along the side of the river behind the houses looks really pleasant and nice in that there aren't any cars going by.

AS someone that walks - I prefer places with no cars myself! (and bikes too for that matter)

Hugs.

It's not as far from people as I'd prefer, and often on the weekends it's not as peaceful, since the people in the houses just off the walk often have little kids out on trikes. But it's definately quieter and more peaceful than most of the other places to walk in this area. Although, if we go further away then there are some absolutely lovely - often bike free - places to walk. Some of which are all but deserted (especially through the week when most people are at work or school).

I wish we had such a pretty area to walk in. Better yet if our neighborhood looked like that...

You have nowhere nice to go for walks? That sucks! Somewhere nice to walk Kero was one of the requirements we put down when we were being rehoused. Seriously! We wouldn't take a place without a nice walk - even if it wasn't as nice as the walk where we used to live.
