Card I made for Emma-Jane

I thought I'd share a photo of the card I made for little Emma...

Can you believe she's almost 2 already? Seems like just yesterday she was a tiny little bundle who couldn't even hold her head up, and now she's fast approaching her 2nd birthday! She's a bright child; always has been. She was walking - unsteadily, but still - shortly after turning 9 months, and very quick to pick up words too!

But enough of that, since this post was only to show you the card I made her ready for her birthday in March. I dare say I'll talk more about her on her birthday! ;)

Nice! I think I need to start making cards. They are so expensive to buy and much more personal if you make them yourself.

Emma-Jane has a very nice aunt! A handmade birthday card!

I too, find it hard to believe she's nearly two already!! I remember you posting her being born like it was yesterday!

Cool! Emma Jane will treasure that card foreve. It is hard to believe that sweet baby is now a toddler of 2. Where does the time go!?!

*Nods* Yes; homemade cards are fun to make, more personal, and work out cheaper than the ones you buy. Also, you can personalize them better; there's often limited choice for shop brought cards.

I know... Seems like just yesterday, and now she's fast approaching her 2nd birthday and has a baby brother who's a little over 2 months old! Where has the time gone?

I hope so, and I know... Where does the time go, indeed!

This card is beautiful! Emma's going to love it. :) What a beautiful name for who I'm sure is a beautiful little girl! <3

Children grow up too fast sometimes, I swear.

Thanks! I know, it's gone so fast, hasn't it?

Thanks; she's not mine though. She's my niece.

Thanks; Emma is a beautiful name, isn't it? I'll have to see if I can get hold of a recent photo of her for you.

Wow, 2 already? Yep, time sure does fly by. Ryan will be 3 in March. Seems like just yesterday that he was born.

How can Emma not help but love that card? With all the rainbows and stars, it's sure to catch her eye and her imagination. Good job!

WOW! Almost 3 already! Seems like just yesterday you were announcing his birth!

Thanks; like most little ones she loves bright colours, and she's always loved stars, so rainbows and stars seemed perfect for her!.

I'd love that, Tori. :) And yes, Emma IS a beautiful name! Matt and I had tossed it around for a future daughter.

Well, if you do choose it then it will be a good choice. It's one of the names I really like too!

See my Mam's blog for photos.

Thanks! :)
