Fantastic Mr. Fox

"An urbane fox cannot resist returning to his farm raiding ways and then must help his community survive the farmers' retaliation."

"It is the story of one Mr. Fox and his wild-ways of hen heckling, turkey taking and cider sipping, nocturnal, instinctive adventures. He has to put his wild days behind him and do what fathers do best: be responsible. He is too rebellious. He is too wild. He is going to try "just one more raid" on the three nastiest, meanest farmers that are Boggis, Bunce and Bean. It is a tale of crossing the line of family responsibilities and midnight adventure and the friendships and awakenings of this country life that is inhabited by Fantastic Mr. Fox and his friends."

(Above taken from here).

Another Roald Dahl book converted in to a movie. It was a fantastic movie, though very much changed from the book.

I never read the book, so I'd probably be okay with the movie. It is on my long Netflix list-hehe! And I just cut down from 3 to 2 at a time, so it will take me even longer to get thru my list. ;) (Fees went up.)

This looks like a GREAT movie. :) I don't remember it ever being previewed on TV, but seems as though it must have been at some point. I just watched the trailer. I wouldn't mind seeing this one sometime soon myself.

I enjoy Roald Dahl - if they haven't strayed to far from the book - I'm sure I'd enjoy the movie. :)

Yeah, prices are going up on everything! :(

I hope you enjoy the movies on your long list when you finally get to watch them.

I hope you get to watch it soon, and enjoy it.

The gist of the book is there, and you can easily see it's the same story. But they have changed several things. You should watch it though and judge for yourself how good it is. :)
