Kero's Summer photo shoot

It's been a little while since we took some photos of Kero. So, Kelly took some today for me to share with you all.
The first one was taken in our room with him sat on our bed. The other two were taken in the back garden.
We did try to get more, but Kero wasn't in the mood for photos today. He was much more interested in watching out the living room window for his Mamgu and Dadci (my Mam and Dad). He was convinced they were coming for dinner again this week, I think. We did try to explain to him that they weren't coming, and that he'd have a VERY long wait if he was staying there until they showed up (they're not due to visit again until Wednesday). But, I don't think he was listening. Either that, or he thought we were winding him up.
Anyway...
Not much else to say, except for...
"Belated happy birthday" to Kelly's Aunt Sue (her birthday was yesterday).
"Happy birthday" for today to Nathan (the youngest son of one of my Mam's best friends).
And, of course...
"Happy father's day" for today to my Dad, and all the other Dads out there. :)
Enjoy whatever's left of your day. :)

Kero is one very handsome dog - his face is so expressive.

I wonder if he thinks your Mam brings him treats so he is especially looking for her. :)

He looks like he has matured into a gentleman dog now.

I'm doing OK. You?

Iggy:
I think he was especially waiting for Mam, but not for treats. My Mam smokes, and I don't allow smoking inside our place. So, every so often she goes out for a smoke. This means that every couple of hours Kero gets company outside. And, if he brings her his football, she often plays ball with him while they're out there. So, I think that's why he looks forward to her coming so much.

Yes, he certainly has grown up. He still has times when he acts like the puppy he once was. But, he's definately not a puppy any more.

Glad you liked the photos.

A lot of people seem to have "Kero dogs" it seems. :)

Ah, a lucky dog indeed. He has a "dedicated" football thrower all to himself.

My folks dog doesn't chase balls anymore but she likes to go out and run in the backyard every couple hours - so she is in and out and in and out and ... makes me dizzy.

Kero does that sometimes when my Mam's not here. During the cold weather it's really annoying, because we want the door closed and he doesn't. It's not so bad in the warm weather, but he will insist on wanting to be escorted in the evenings. I think he's scared of the birds (there's a variety of birds, some of which are quite noisy, that roost in the trees near us).
